Far too often, the identification and connection of students to crucial mental health and well-being resources rely on luck. This is clearly reflected in the data, where only 15% of children living in poverty have access to any form of mental health and basic needs services.
As a school adopter, you will be part of a solution that is changing the above reality. This is one of the few ways in which you can impact an entire school systemically.
In addition you will be highlighted on our website, as well as a 1-on-1 meeting to discuss the impact of your adoption.
You should expect to hear from us three times a year via email with an update. You will also be invited to our annual Adopt A School donor appreciation event (this is not a fundraising event, but simply a thank you). We also email you for a 1:1 coffee chat with our CEO. If you would like to opt out, please let us know. You will not receive mailers, giving Tuesday requests or anything else.
Absolutely: Feel free to see our sponsorship levels above.
No, however, we feel that this program is designed so that you can directly contribute to something that has a huge impact on the lives of students, and would love for it to be a long-term commitment.
No. We don’t do galas. We don’t do mailers. Instead, through our annual Adopt-A-School program, we are looking to build a close-knit group of supporters who will join us as we strive toward a vision of ensuring every student has the coordinated circle of support they need.
Absolutely, If the school has not been adopted yet. We are in hundreds of schools, contact us at advancement@prounitas.org for more info.
Yes! The entire amount is 100% tax-deductible. All tax receipts will be sent out in early January.
Even though we are not in your city or school districts, your donation contributes to solving a crucial problem. Moreover, introducing our services to your local district can greatly impact the accessibility of our offerings.
Our goal is to change the narrative and set the gold standard for what accountable and systematized, student-centered supports should look like in public schools.
In addition to our PurpleSENSE Program, you may also consider donating to our Bold Decisions Programs and Sustainability campaign.
